Kikan is an interval timer app for iPhone and Apple Watch. Your privacy is important to us. The short version: we don't collect, store, or share any of your personal data.
Kikan does not collect any personal information. Your timers, workout history, and preferences are stored locally on your device and synced to your Apple Watch via Apple's WatchConnectivity framework. This data never leaves your devices and is never sent to us or any third party.
Kikan does not use any analytics services, tracking tools, or advertising SDKs. We do not track your usage, location, or behavior in any way.
Kikan does not integrate with any third-party services that collect user data. The app uses only Apple's built-in frameworks (HealthKit for workout sessions on Apple Watch, ActivityKit for Live Activities, and WatchConnectivity for device sync).
If you choose to start a workout from the Apple Watch app, Kikan uses Apple HealthKit to record your workout session. This data is stored in Apple Health on your device and is never accessed, transmitted, or stored by us.
All app data (timers, sequences, workout history, and settings) is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. If you delete the app, all data is removed.
Kikan does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
If we ever update this privacy policy, changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Since Kikan doesn't collect data, we don't anticipate significant changes.
